Kevin Lynch was named Chief Operating Officer for ToolBank USA, effective January 1st. As COO, Lynch now manages the daily operations of the national nonprofit organization.
"The addition of the COO position equips ToolBank USA for the growth in scale and complexity that we have already begun to experience," said ToolBank USA CEO Mark Brodbeck. "The move formalizes many of the strategic functions Kevin was serving over the past year, and allows me to focus on strengthening our relationships with our affiliates, our investors, and our market leaders in expansion communities." Brodbeck founded ToolBank USA in 2008 after six years of heading up the Atlanta Community ToolBank.
Lynch joined ToolBank USA as Director of Development in 2009. Since that time the ToolBank network has defined the replicable ToolBank model, grown from one to four affiliates, and the organization's budget and staff have more than doubled.
